
Mark Hughes, Vice President of the company, is confident that the facility will be ready on time for the race which will take place on 30 October (subject to circuit approval by F1 governing body the FIA).
“As with any large scale project, there might always be the possibility of encountering difficult situations,” he explained to India’s F1Pulse.com. “However, we are doing everything possible to ensure that our project does not run into any problems.
“We have a team of experienced professionals handling all aspects of building and operating the race track and we have the strength and the resources that are needed to execute a project like this.
“So, we hope things will go off smoothly and we will not encounter any serious problems with the race track or with our inaugural F1 race in 2011.”
